Mavic Open Pro rims | 32 spoke holes

The Mavic Open Pro C is the latest version of the “Open” rims, and as such it is the most advanced evolution. Optimized up to the limit of material potential. Its Maxtal aluminium keeps the weight low and SUP welding makes the Mavic Open Pro very strong and durable.

Maxtal – Exclusive to Mavic. An aluminum alloy that is 30% more resistant than a 6106 alloy for lighter and spicier rims.

UB Control (Usiné Brut Control) – The braking surfaces are milled to improve braking friction and eliminate shuddering.

SUP (Soudé Usiné Process) – A welded and milled rim joint which is extremely strong, eliminates also shuddering when braking and offers superior wheel balance.

The Shimano 105 R7000 hubs feature internal o-rings and grease sleeves which in combination with high-quality cup and cone bearings not only ensure extreme durability, but also extremely low rolling resistance to guarantee long-lasting performance. For rim brakes. Incl. quick releases.

The FH-R7000 freehub is compatible to Shimano 10-/11-speed systems (10-speed only with a spacer).
