Shimano Dura Ace Di2 ST-R9270 STI brake/shift lever
The electronic Shimano Dura Ace Di2 ST-9180 Dual Control lever is especially suitable for Time Trial and Triathlon handlebars. The STI lever not only offers different grip positions, it also allows the hand to remain on the brake lever to trigger the shifting process. This is possible because of the Synchro-Shift mode which makes just one button on each shift/brake lever sufficient to operate rear and front derailleur. The system decides which of the two components is used to change gears. For individual adaptation, the brake lever also features the option of reach adjustment.

Shimano Dura Ace BR-R9270 disc brake caliper
Its one-piece Mono-Body design not only makes the Shimano Dura Ace BR-R9270 brake caliper incredibly light, but also gives it outstanding stiffness values. At the same time, the Flatmount brake made from a single, cold-forged aluminium block proves that high performance is also possible with compact dimensions.
A 10 % increase in brake pad spacing also allows for a significant reduction in noise during braking. In addition, when the RT-MT900 brake disc rotor (sold separately) is used, its deformation-resistant design, even with increasing heat, helps to create an extremely quiet and smooth braking system.
To simplify maintenance, the hydraulic 2-piston brake caliper not only features the proven One-Way-Bleeding system, but also a separate arrangement of bleed nipple and opening screw. On the one hand, this minimises the risk of the bleed kit hose slipping off when opening or closing the system and, on the other hand, makes it unnecessary to dismantle the caliper from the frame for bleeding process.
